Updates on What’s Been Happening at the Disappearing Frogs Project 2015
- A well attended book-signing, April 16 at Park Road Books in Charlotte by Robin Moore, conservation photographer, and author of “In Search of Lost frogs”
- Puppet show, Green Heaven, followed by “Fun Frog Facts” by Dr. Steve Fields of the Culture and Heritage Museums was held Thurs, April 16 in Rock Hill. Lots of kids enjoyed the show, learned about frogs, asked questions and made their own art designs of frogs.
- A one-hour interview on WFAE, 90.7, Charlotte Talks with Mike Collins on April 16 Robin Moore Conservationist and author of “In Search of lost frogs”.
- Television Interview on Charlotte Today show on WCNC with DFP organizer and Curator, Terry Thirion and author, Robin Moore.
- A full house for the Public Art reception followed by lecture by Robin Moore, Conservationist and author of “In Search of lost frogs”.

Why:
Over 300 species of amphibians could be extinct in our lifetime. The mission of the Disappearing Frogs Project is to apply the power of Art in support of scientific, educational and community efforts focused on the preservation of amphibians.
